• Just getting back from a trip to L.A. – it was a whirlwind of seeing old friends, a taping of Kate Berlant’s hilarious new special, and supporting my incredible sibling-in-law Alli Kiko Masloske, who adapted a TV pilot script into her first play, Paper Flowers! It’s the belle of the ball in this year’s Hollywood Fringe Festival (that’s out of 500 projects!), and even though it was a tight turnaround between performances of Company’s Coming, there’s no world where I would’ve missed it. Congrats, Alli! ❤

  • Last summer, I was the assistant director for my mentor Robin Witt’s Steep Theatre production of A CASE FOR THE EXISTENCE OF GOD by Samuel D. Hunter. This week, it was nominated for 4 Joseph Jefferson Awards: Best Production, Best Director, and both actors (Nate Faust and Debo Balogun)!

I have serious reservations about the Jeff Awards Committee (and theatre awards in general) but it is nice to be reminded of how terrific that show was, and to see my collaborator’s hard work be honored. I hope they can bring some deserved attention to Robin, Steep, and everyone else who helped to make this show such a success!
